Tessellate
Every level is a maze. Every maze is a world.
Fastest runs
Finish a world and your time lands here under a name the game picks for you.
Reading the board…
Times are measured by the game in your browser, so treat the board as a friendly scoreboard rather than an official record. Obviously impossible runs are thrown out.
Tessellate is a platformer where every level is a maze you have to read before you can climb it. Six worlds, each built on a different piece of impossible geometry: a tiling that repeats forever, a stair that never arrives, a wall that lies about being solid.
You get one pool of points, and two things want it. Dying costs points. So does every new move you learn. Play carefully and you stay slow. Buy the wall jump and the dash and you are one bad landing from starting the world over. Deciding which of those you can afford is the game.
Six worlds, no filler.
Each one has its own colours, its own trick of geometry, and one way out that can definitely be reached.
Moves you buy, not moves you unlock.
Wall jump, dash, super jump. Every one of them competes with your own respawns for the same points.
Things the level never mentions.
Walls that aren't there, a chamber nobody points you to, a gate that wants arithmetic, and a teacher called Penrose who trades.
Hear about the next world.
